Handsome Harry

Handsome Harry

They call him “Handsome” Harry Sweeney (Jamey Sheridan). At 52, the Vietnam veteran has kept his rugged good looks. Everyone likes Harry, an electrician by trade who loves to sing – but for some reason he never lets anyone get too close.

Out of the blue, Harry gets a call from a former Navy buddy, Tom Kelly (Steve Buscemi). On his deathbed and terrified of going to Hell, Kelly convinces Harry to seek forgiveness on his behalf from a comrade they betrayed over 30 years ago, David Kagan (Campbell Scott).

As the road stretches out before Harry, two mysteries gradually unfold – what really happened on that night 30 years ago when Harry betrayed his friend, and the mystery of how it has shaped his life ever since.

HANDSOME HARRY is a psychological mystery about lost love, forgiveness, and the stifling effect the “code of silence” has over men and their relationships. Can Harry ever attain forgiveness and regain a love he believes he has already destroyed?
