It takes a lot of work to put this shindig together. In fact, in 2009 we required more than 40 staff and 600 volunteers working 10,000 volunteer hours to make the festival a success, not to mention an army of fantastic sponsors and community partners.

The Calgary International Film Festival prides itself on having a team of highly dedicated, personable and engaged volunteers and supporters. We are oh-so-grateful that with the help of many film-loving locals, we are able to provide a world-class cinematic event for Calgarians on an annual basis, and it should come as no surprise that we're going to need a little help again this year!
